The Company

Maclynn (previously Vida) is an award-winning psychology-based matchmaking agency founded in 2011 by Chartered Occupational Psychologist, Rachel MacLynn. Head quartered in London, Maclynn also has offices in New York, New Jersey and Los Angeles. Maclynn specialises in personal introductions to remarkable people. This exclusive matchmaking service is designed to help its clients find their life partner; someone compatible not just physically, but also with shared values and life goals. The service is offline and very discreet.

The Role

Maclynn is looking for a Matchmaker or Senior Matchmaker to join its expanding international team. The successful candidate will work directly with clients to help them on their journey from being a high achieving individual and into a relationship with someone compatible. Our matchmakers are known for their warmth and passion for connecting people in a meaningful way.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Profiling clients i.e. interviewing to assess values and attitudes
• Searching for their matches in our existing network of exceptional singles
• Headhunting for potential matches outside of our network
• Assessing compatibility between clients and their matches
• Coaching clients to help steer them towards a successful relationship

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a client facing role
• Experience of networking (desirable)
• Good client management skills, including assertiveness
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Organized and detail orientated
• Ability to handle confidential information
• Good interpersonal skills, including empathy and influence
• Good customer service skills
• Good understanding of MS Office
• Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology (preferred); or equivalent related business experience
• Self-starter and able to work autonomously
• Experience in the luxury sector (preferred)
• Minimum 1 year matchmaking experience (for Senior Matchmakers)

Whilst we offer hybrid working the successful candidate will need to be in the office at least 2-3 times per week and occasionally more frequently.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
