Job Description


The Master Data/AP Associate is essential to the Client Accounting Dept., ensuring all master data is maintained in accordance with company guidelines, along with providing support to the overall company accounts payable process. A successful candidate will have experience with master data, in both client and vendor aspects. Experience in Invoice management platforms is a big plus, strong excel skills, resourceful and demonstrates the initiative to participate beyond what is required. This person must demonstrate the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with internal teams, along with possessing strong organizational skills and attention to detail.


VENDOR SET UP AND MAINTENANCE

  • Ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of master data entry into our media/financial system in accordance with company guidelines
  • Updates and maintains required vendor documents as needed
  • Performs vendor audit on a recurring basis


CLIENT MASTER DATA MAINTENANCE

  • Client/Product/Commission set up/maintenance


VENDOR INVOICE MANAGEMENT

  • Vendor Invoice management and monitoring in IPS Platform
    • Monitors 3rd party vendor invoice management platform to ensure invoice records in all pending queues are resolved within required timeframe
  • Works directly with vendors to ensure invoices are sent with appropriate information required for invoice coding and to appropriate location
  • Maintain the vendor contact database
  • Prepares and presents a monthly IPS aging report of anything pending 60+ days with status and next steps to resolve.


MISCELLANEOUS

  • Ad-hoc projects and reporting as needed
  • Support to Accounting Associates and Analysts as needed.

Qualifications
  • Media agency experience is desirable
  • Strong proficiency utilizing systems and tools
  • Excel expertise

  • Excellent people skills and enjoys helping other team members
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook proficiency

COMPENSATION RANGE

$48,000 - 55,000 (commensurate with experience)
