Valmar Holdings is looking for a team-oriented Marketing Manager to work with organizational leadership and agency partners to build our brand and grow our businesses. This person will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing plans, building brand awareness, and generating website traffic and inbound opportunities, through managing the creation and distribution of high-quality branded content. Strong writing skills and significant experience in content creation/publishing and social media management are a must to start.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with leadership to create high-quality content using key terminology.
  • Create and publish online lead generation content including but not limited to website copy, blogs, articles, social media posts, etc.
  • Write and produce marketing literature and informational brochures, as needed.
  • Establish promotions to drive sales and build brand awareness.
  • Manage the creation of engaging tradeshow displays and marketing materials.
  • Assist operations with continuously fine tuning the customer experience.
  • Establish closed-loop analytics with business development to understand how our inbound marketing activity turns into customers, and continually refine the process for converting leads into customers.
  • Manage and improve organic search engine performance based on clickthrough rates, traffic, and conversions.
  • Apply search engine optimization strategies, staying up-to-date with the latest trends and changes with major search engines.
  • Support website maintenance, including updating content, content expansion, graphic features and design aspects.
  • Perform customer and competitive research, and content analysis to support content development for specific campaigns.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with ability to use the style, tone and voice of the business.
  • At least 3 years of marketing and content creation experience required.
  • Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use data to inform all decisions.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation and blogging software in order to generate traffic, convert visitors into leads, and then nurture leads into converted customers.
