Manager Supply Chain

A fast growing $50 million manufacturing company based in Warsaw, Indiana is seeking a Supply Chain Manager

The Supply Chain Manager will focus most of their efforts on the sourcing/purchasing function and inventory control. They will manage a small team covering these areas. They will also develop budgets, review monthly expenditures, and initiate cost reduction programs.

They will be responsible for inventory management, including the inventory, turns metric, and inventory accuracy, in conjunction with the inventory control function. Identifies opportunities for inventory reduction and recommends the disposition of excess and obsolete inventory.

They will Identify and onboard new suppliers as required to ensure continuity of supply and be responsible for supply agreement terms, including price, lead time, and payment terms. Manages effective relationships with existing suppliers of goods and services to meet the established cost, quality, and delivery targets.

They will be responsible for the accuracy of inventory counts by implementing and managing, in conjunction with material handling, an inventory transaction system capable of identifying discrepancies in inventory counts and taking corrective action to guard against inconsistencies in the future and adhere to established company policies, procedures, terms and conditions, and legal matters that affect purchasing policies.

The manager must also have experience successfully hiring, training and managing team members.

Must interface with other senior executives and their departments within the company on a regular basis.

The company is looking for 5-10 years of experience in supply chain with a focus on sourcing/purchasing and inventory control. They are willing to consider high performers that are ready for their next step up in an organization but may lack seasoning and experience.

Salary $90-110k plus 20% bonus eligibility.
