The People Team Manager will work in cooperation with the Corporate People Business Team and Operation’s Management Team on a daily basis by managing the Human Resources administration and Corporate People Initiatives. Overall this position is responsible for executing and managing all recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and corporate initiatives for the Saks Fifth Avenue Distribution Center.

You Also Have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Retail, Business Management or other related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of Human Resources/People Team experience
  • Strong Verbal and written communication skills including a comfort level of speaking to a group and with company executive and senior leaders.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented with ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Exhibit compassion and assertiveness.
  • Must have the ability to quickly learn systems, process, and procedures
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with capability and desire to work within a collaborative team and possess an interest to grow into other people team related roles
  • Must have advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access) and experience with Google and a variety of online recruiting platforms (Zip Recruiter, Craigslist, Indeed, etc)
