What you’ll be doing...

As Manager of Brand Management, you will be responsible defining "how to win" strategies for Total by Verizon and adjacent prepaid brands. By evaluating brand performance you will define pricing, benefits, inclusions, and promotion strategy to drive profitable growth for the brand portfolio.

In this position, you will partner with the Commercial, Customer Marketing, CRM and Sales leads for the respective brands to understand business needs and to lead development of value prop and promotions. Through rigorous analysis of business performance and close collaboration with key stakeholders, you will create growth strategies to positively drive business KPIs (e.g. Net Adds, Service Revenue, Contribution Margin, etc.). You will work closely with Finance to create financial models and lead proposals through the Value Commercial Committee process. This role requires excellent analytical skills, high-caliber communication skills as well as strong business and analytical acumen.

  • Performing In-depth analysis of business performance, specific to new customer acquisition, customer retention, cross-sell, upsell and overall profitability.
  • Utilizing multiple databases and data sources to gather necessary customer insights to drive informed decision making.
  • Collaborating and leading a matrixed team to create and maintain a robust pipeline of promotional opportunities that can be deployed as business conditions require.
  • Leading with a P&L-owner’s perspective in translating ideas/concepts to differentiated value props to drive desired results against KPIs.
  • Developing new processes and capabilities for how assumptions and inputs into business cases are created, partnering with Market Insights and other subject matter experts.
  • Partnering with Finance to efficiently and effectively advance value prop and promotional concepts into fully vetted businesses cases ready for review with executive leadership.
  • Ensuring approved proposals are successfully transitioned to Commercial/Marketing teams for execution in market.
  • Developing KPIs, reporting scorecards to measure brand, sales and promotional performance.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in data analysis and creating performance dashboards and reports.
  • Experience in pricing, product management, customer analytics, promotions or FP&A .

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • MBA.
  • Ten or more years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience in consumer telecom and managing prepaid brands.
  • Experience in managing a P&L.
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams in a matrix environment.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience in regularly presenting to executive audiences.
