Job Locations: US-MN-St. James Your Opportunity:
The Maintenance Training & Inventory Coordinator will perform general administrative tasks for the Maintenance Department. This includes employee record keeping, vacation schedules, reporting on a variety of items within the Maintenance Department, and providing guidance and assistance on Training both from an orientation and on-going basis.
Salary Range:
$35,500 - $59,000
Core Responsibilities:
  • Generates, prints, sorts and distributes Preventive Maintenance work orders.
  • Generates reports from SAP on the daily dollar amounts from the General Ledger to track amount expensed on a daily stock items and non-stock expenditures.
  • Enters all mechanics daily work hours by work order number into SAP to track for labor cost on each machines.
  • Familiar with and/or learns all department functions in order to direct calls for work to be completed throughout the plant.
  • Tracks hourly employee attendance records and schedules vacation time for employees in the maintenance department.
  • Pulls Maintenance Payroll from plant payroll report to track weekly Maintenance payroll and keeps a monthly report based on the fiscal month.
  • Evaluates vacation request forms for accuracy to deliver to HR on a daily basis and keeps records of these vacation requests.
  • Keeps confidential, accurate and up to date employee files within the department.
  • Assists Managers and Superintendents with entering work orders into SAP and completing requisitions for purchasing items.
  • Provides orientation and training guidance to employees on systems and processes.
  • Conducts orientation training for mechanics and other employees on use of training/testing process.
  • Coordinates and monitors all testing within the department.
  • Maintains schedule created by Maintenance team for use of equipment and software.
  • Maintains orderliness of training area or room.
  • Inputs specific plant related information into training modules.
  • Troubleshoots training process, equipment and software.
  • Coordinates service and support issues with Amatrol eLearning.
  • Notifies CMM Task group of irregularities in the process that may require a temporary stoppage, reviews any potential changes in the process.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED required, College degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in a similar position is a plus.Good communication skills and the ability to coordinate with other departments.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite including, Excel, Work, Power Point.'
  • Working knowledge of SAP, preferred.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and efficiently and effectively manage time.
  • Spanish and English fluency is a plus.
  • Ability to work with a diverse workforce.
  • Must be able to remain flexible and focused when priorities change.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.

  • The majority of the time is spent in an office setting outside of the production plant. The plant environment will include wet or humid conditions (non-weather related), extreme cold and heat (non-weather related), working near moving mechanical parts, exposure to fumes or airborne particles, and chemicals.
  • Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be loud when in the production area.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision includes close vision and ability to adjust focus.
  • Frequently required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, and talk or hear.
