If so, Villagebrook apartments is looking for a Maintenance Technician like you to ensure the efficient operations, safety, and maintenance of our 189-unit community in Carol Stream.

Guided by our core values, the Maintenance Technician will work directly with the Maintenance Supervisor to keep the community beautiful and well-maintained in order to realize our mission to deliver affordable housing and supportive services to our residents and the surrounding communities.

The successful candidate will ensure a safe, secure, and comfortable living environment for residents, visitors and staff. We will rely on you to be a key member of the maintenance team to anticipate, identify, and correct all problems throughout the property.

To thrive in this role you must use your previous experience in a high volume maintenance position to cultivate exceptional resident satisfaction by being prompt, courteous, and efficient. Servicing our community involves a few key functions, including, but not limited to, the completion of apartment turns, general plumbing, electrical, and maintenance work, and daily huddles to keep work moving and the team on track.

You will actively participate in completing service requests, handle grounds care, and assist in snow removal when required. A high level of competency and communication with all staff, residents and professional associates is a must.

HVAC certification and/or experience is preferred.

Must be available for Monday-Friday plus weekend/holiday hours and an on-call schedule.
