We are currently assisting our client, a large automotive supplier, in their search for a Maintenance Planner / Scheduler with 8+ years of manufacturing experience. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity located in Lavergne, TN (onsite, no remote work). Position has the opportunity to go direct for the right individual.

We are looking for a highly skilled technical expert - perceived as the “go to” person to address technical solutions in a highly specialized area of engineering.

JOB DUTIES

• Maintenance planning and scheduling.
• Read mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Prepare work order packages and job instructions. Stage and kit parts per job.
• Paperwork and computer reports, 60%-70% of the day using a windows-based client based software.
• Project management and leadership ability.
• Be able to communicate to different vendors, suppliers and skilled labor (mechanical, electrical, and pipefitter).

Work Hours/Schedule: M-F, 6a-3p, OT will be available.

REQUIREMENTS

• Technical Engineering degreed preferred but not required. 8+ years of relevant experience for non-degree.
• Mechanical knowledge, organizing/planning/ scheduling, and communication/leadership.
• Industrial maintenance experience is a must.
• Organization, MS Office and windows-based system experience.
