Pay Range: $31.55 per hour

(Additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 7:00pm and 11:59pm. Additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00am-4:59am)

• Performing all phases of maintenance, including electrical mechanical systems (i.e. fabricating, welding, troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and performing required preventative maintenance.
• Maintain required records, reporting in writing any uncorrected mechanical/electrical defects and replacement parts to the supervisor.
• Direct/instruct subordinate employees still in training (e.g. Maintenance Mechanic B,C and Trainees).
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues including 480v 3 phase and PLC communication.
• Fabricate mild and stainless steel from prints/drawings. Use of MIG and Arc welding. Use of torch and plasma cutter.
• Diagnose conveyance and other process issues relating to leaks, plugs, bridging, etc.

• Five years welding experience with MIG and Arc welder on mild and stainless steel. Proficient in use of plasma cutter and torch.
• Know and follow lockout/tag out procedures, confined spaces, and MSDS. Follow all OSHA and company policies and best practices.
• Math, reading, and writing capabilities. Understand blueprints, schematics, repair manuals.
• Knowledge of electrical wiring for 120/240/480 volts.
• Capability of repairing/replacing pumps, motors and valves.
• Diagnose PLC issues and work with vendors to repair.
• Ability to perform a variety of strenuous physical tasks including lifting (up to 100 lbs.), working in confined spaces, ability to work and climb at heights (120 feet), climbing up/down ladders and stairs, bend, stoop, kneel, crawl, stand, and reach on a daily/repetitive basis.
• Must have an overall favorable employment record and attendance record.
• Working all shifts; Must be able to work varying shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Must be willing to rotate into various departments with varying job duties as needed.
• Must be able to show up to work daily and be on-time to perform the duties of the position.
• Ability to operate all plant equipment and machinery including rolling stock (trucks/trailers, forklifts, loaders, man lifts).
• Plumbing skills.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Good mathematical skills.
