Wenger Corporation is hiring Machine Operators who’d be responsible to set up, adjust, and operate wood and/or metal fabrication equipment while working under limited supervision within assigned areas in a manner which meets or exceeds established quality and quantity standards.

At a minimum you’ll need:

• A solid work history
• Proven machine operations and/or mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced teamwork environment
• Ability to stand and/or walk, as well as lift materials up to 40 lbs for the duration of the work hours selected
• Ability to operate basic hand tools
• Comfort in navigating through various computer screens and data entry

It’d be great if you also have:

• Previous experience operating CNCs, forming, punching, cutting, and/or laser equipment
• Experience following written instructions, diagrams, and blueprints in a manufacturing setting
• Experience using tape measures, calipers, and other measuring instruments

As a Machine Operator, a typical day might include:

• Set up, operation, adjustment, and maintenance of wood and/or metal fabrication equipment
• Following engineering drawings and blueprints to perform the work
• Performing inspection of materials and piece parts
• Completion of paperwork and/or computer transactions
