Job description

Under the direction of the RN collects data within their scope of practice, organizes, oversees, and personally conducts the delivery of patient care as directed by RN or higher-level nursing staff; acts as a team member with other professionals and Para-professionals in the delivery of patient care services; assists with the patient care plan (by collecting data); maintains medical and surgical equipment in a sanitary condition and in good operating condition; oversees the compliance with infection control and safety regulations of the hospital, acts as a liaison between the hospital and other units.

• Possession of a valid LVN license issued by the State of California Board of Nursing.
• Current CPR certification in Basic Life Support
• Prefer two years experience as an LVN.
• Thorough knowledge of practical nursing theory.
• Knowledge of standard practices, rules, and regulations related to licensed practical nursing.
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology, aseptic technique.
• Ability to communicate both orally and in writing.
• Ability to keep accurate records and effectively use EMR.
• Day 12 hr Shift

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
