Job description

Notre Dame Academy High School in West Los Angeles is seeking a qualified French teacher to cover four French classes for the end of the school year, likely starting in late April and finishing around June 2. There is also the possibility of continuing in the position from August through October. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching high school or college French classes.

Our world languages courses focus on developing students’ passion for listening, speaking, reading, and writing in their target language and their appreciation of the richness of cultures different from their own. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s or master’s degree in French and high school teaching experience. This individual must be innovative, dynamic, energetic, organized, and hard working. Given the brevity of the position, flexibility will be a key attribute in order to quickly adapt to the curriculum, school calendar and schedule, textbooks and resources, students, and colleagues.
