Position Summary:

A Logistics Pricing Analyst (Project Cargo) is responsible for analyzing and optimizing the costs and efficiency of transporting large, complex or high-value cargoes across different modes and regions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain pricing models and tools for project cargo bids and proposals
• Negotiate the price with carriers, freight forwarders, brokers and other logistics providers to provide competitive rates and service
• Analyze the pricing quote comparison between freight forwarders/ carriers, forecast the financial P&L based on budgeted plan, and advise the team to set the target prices and goals
• Collect and evaluate data on project cargo shipments, such as dimensions, weight, origin, destination, special requirements, etc.
• Prepare pricing report and present recommendations based on the reports to internal and external stakeholders
• Support to monitor and track project cargo shipments and resolve any issues or delays
• Conduct market research and benchmarking to identify best practices and opportunities for future improvement
• Work with the legal team to ensure all pricing conditions are met in the contract.
• Be responsible to input or adjust any data into company’s internal procurement system during the pricing sourcing process.
• Evaluate suppliers’ pricing quotes and compile a detailed assessment of cost element breakdowns.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree Required
• 6+ years working experience in the logistics/ Supply Chain Industry as an analyst or a similar role
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Words, and PowerPoint
• TMS systems and other relevant software applications
• Analytical, and excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Fluent English and Korean preferred
• Knowledge of project cargo regulations, standards and best practices are plus
• Ability to travel up to 10% in domestic and International (mostly US and Canada)
