• Local RN-LTC Needed in LYNWOOD,WA ,
• 8 weeks contract, ,
• shift : 8hrs Evening ,
• Pay :$70/hr .

Type of Facility: Skilled Nursing- Nursing Home, Skilled Care, some traditional AL attached to SNF, Memory care locked -units in some markets.

• All free standing - # of Beds/Residents: 113 - EMR: Point Click Care - Ratios: RN's: 1:10-15, LPN's 1:10-15, CNA's: 1-15 -
• Required Certifications: Licensure, BLS; CNA's are required to be certified - Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Wide varity. Everything from geriatric to long term care - very high acuity. Wound care, TPN, etc. -

Job Duties:

• Licensed LPN/RN. Wound Care RN, The remainder dependent on state practice act. - Experience or 'Must have' skills: Experience in post-acute highly preferred. At least 1 yr of experience. Must have IV experience. - Are there IV's or titratable drips?: IV skills not required. Use contracted service for PICC lines. - Area there Tele monitors? If so do you have monitor techs on this unit? Do RN's read strips?: No - Are RN's required to attend team conferences for acute inpatient rehab?: Yes - DON/Charge Nurse/House Supervisor: Charge nurse available - Physician availability after hours: Via phone, or Telehealth in some markets - Interdisciplinary Team: PT/OT/SLP all locations, Social Works and Dieticians all markets, Pulmonary or Cardiac Rehab dependent on location - Is RT on-site 24/7: Dependent on location - Pharmacy on-site? Medication dispensing system?: Pharmacy 24/7 - Shifts & Scheduling: 8 or 12 hour shifts, depends on the location. Schedule is made monthly. Number of nurses and CNAs on is dependent on census, location and acuity. No Self scheduling. - Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend - Holiday Requirement: Rotation - Call or Standby Requirement: DON, UM roles require call - Floating Requirements : No - Scrub Color/Dress Code: Scrubs, no color requirement - Unit/Department Specific Orientation: 3 days of floor orientation, including electronic orientation. Leadership positions up-to 30 days of floor orientation - Do you have a Separate COVID Unit?: Dependent on location - Do you use PAPR or N95?: N95 for positive patient care and for not up to date employees - Require COVID Vaccine?: Yes or exemption
