We are looking for experienced Load Planner / Truck Dispatcher to join our operations team. Ideal Load Planner / Truck Dispatcher will have previous over-the-road dispatching experience, great communication skills, and ability to work in a team-based fast environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Load planning assigned fleet of trucks
• Using freight booking platforms to book freight
• Negotiating rates and short term dry-van freight contracts
• Serving as a main point of contact for assigned drivers
• Proactively tracking shipments and alerting customers about anticipated scheduling delays

Minimum Requirements:

• Six months of previous dispatcher / load planner
• Fundamental knowledge of transportation and routing in the US
• Previous experience using different load boards such as DAT, Internet TruckStop
• Ability to work individually and as a part of a team
• Proven track record of managing and routing company drivers

Qualifications / Additional Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent. Associates degree preferred
• Previous experience managing truck driver routes
• Ability to use delivery scheduling platforms
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and transportation management systems

Pay: $78,000.00 - $93,600.00 per year
