Job Description:

Boca West Country Club is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Lifeguard. Candidates must possess excellent customer service skills.

This position requires standing, walking and bending throughout the day.

Flexible schedule is required including weekends and holidays.

Full time employees are offered full benefits, including free health insurance (individual coverage after 60 days of service); 401K with employer match (after 1 full year of service); paid sick, vacation and holiday (after 1 full year of service)

• Must be current with American Red Cross Lifeguard, CPR and First Aid Certification.
• Having a Water Safety Instructor Certification is necessary to perform swim lessons.
• Maintain a positive rapport with members, co-workers and supervisors.
• Must have the ability to ensure the safety and well-being of members and guests: a. Patron surveillance ensure the safety of swimmers. b. Respond to emergencies. c. Enforcing Aquatics Center Rules and Regulations.
• Assist in the daily cleaning and maintenance of the Aquatic Center: a. Pool water chemistry. b. Vacuum pools. c. Cleaning pool deck and pool tiles. d. Organizing and cleaning pool furniture.
• Perform any other responsibilities as indicated by Departmental Procedures.
• Must be able to work weekend and public holidays.
• Must have a positive attitude.
• Assume any responsibilities as directed by the Aquatics Coordinator or Head Lifeguard
