The Business Insurance Sales Agent will be responsible for selling commercial insurance products. We have support teams to assist in training and for joint sales calls to ensure you are successful.

Responsibilities


Agent Responsibilities

  • Prospectingfor new business through networking, event marketing, and cold calling
  • Set appointments and meet with current and potential prospects to discuss their needs to educate them on what product best suits their needs
  • Complete insurance applications and submit to various markets for quotes on both new and renewing business
  • Maintain minimum sales quota
  • Follow cases until policies issued from insurer
  • Attend social events when applicable
  • Assist with various administrative duties
  • Assist with other duties as needed
  • Assist clients with all commercial lines insurance-related transactions by phone and in-person
  • Develop a rapport with customers by selling additional products
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills
  • Providing excellent customer service by accurately, efficiently, and timely resolution of client requests
  • Conducting need-based policy reviews and updating coverage as needed
  • Generating accurate quotes at high volumes
  • Work well in a team environment and cultivate relationships with others
  • Demonstrate a genuine passion for doing the right thing as it relates to the insured???s needs and policies
  • Maintain proper time management and follow-up
  • Maintain accurate documentation in agency systemes

Requirements


Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)

  • California Property & Casualty Insurance License
  • Ability to prioritize projects
  • Ability to organize large amounts of documents according to established procedure
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work proficiently at a computer for an extended period of time
  • Ability to work independently and with others in a team setting

Salary Range: $50,000-90,000 per year (Including Base + Commission)
