BrightStar Care of Leesburg and Gainesville is looking for a compassionate and reliable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and Registered Nurses (RN) to care for our pediatric and geriatric clients in Winchester, VA and Front Royal, VA! The ideal LPN or RN will have exceptional communication skills and is proactive regarding pediatric patient care. The LPN or RN should be experienced providing skilled nursing in a homecare setting and is able to remain patient and calm in stressful/difficult situations. Training is provided by the Nurse handling the case.

Schedule: 8, 12, or 16 hour shifts,

Skills:

• Proven experience working with Pediatrics and Geriatrics.
• Experience with Pediatric Heart Disease.
• Comfortable doing basic ADL's
• Familiarity with health, safety and sanitation standards and procedures
• Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices
• Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and able to handle stress
