Liberty POST is currently seeking a Licensed Behavioral Analyst/Clinical Psychologist to be a part of our team launching Applied Behavioral Analysis services. The position can be either Full or Part Time depending on availability.

For over 10 years Liberty POST has offered a comprehensive and integrated treatment delivery system of care across NYS for children in Early Intervention, Special Education and services for children diagnosed with Autism. We are a large and stable organization with 1,600 employees and nearly 500 professional full and part time staff in our Early Childhood Division. We have invested a considerably in technology development to stream-line our practice, keeping our staff in constant contact with critical information and importantly, with each other. In addition to our comprehensive service array, Liberty POST is approved by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA), the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), and the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) as a continuing education provider, assuring our staff are highly skilled professionals in their fields. These trainings are offered free of charge to our valued employees for CEU credits and continued professional learning.

Liberty POST plans to expand our service offerings to include ABA therapy for children with Autism. We are seeking an LBA to be on the front end of this exciting effort at our main offices in our beautiful and newly renovated building located in East Syracuse, NY. We have plans to expand services across all our regions in NYS. Liberty POST is also conducting significant expansion through mergers and acquisitions within NY and into other states. The incumbent can play a critical role in support of this expansion effort.

For ABA Services, the LBA/Clinical Psychologist responsibilities include:
  • Provide initial and/or continuing client (re)assessments
  • Plan, manage, and evaluate assigned staff efforts to properly address behavioral deficits by building functional skill repertoires
  • In collaboration with the Program Director, supervise ongoing ABA programs, assess performance of programs, and perform clinical tele-supervision as indicated
  • Provide ABA training and Support for parents other caregivers and staff
  • Manage electronic data regarding the client’s progress using our Catalyst program
  • Provide long-term follow-up care for patients and families as appropriate
  • Participate in treatment and regular team meetings
  • Provide leadership and contribute to a positive team culture of collaboration and team excellence
  • Ensure compliance with all pertinent government/Agency regulations and operating standards.
Qualifications:
  • Current BCBA and NYS LBA certification
  • Demonstrated expertise to lead and supervise professionals and paraprofessionals in delivery of ABA services
  • Familiarity and ability to administer and interpret a variety of clinical assessments
  • Display excellent clinical competence and judgment; experience working in multi-disciplinary team setting
  • Respect for cultural diversity and capability of adapting ABA procedures to embrace diversity
  • Valid NYS Driver’s License
  • Proficient in Microsoft Operating software suites
