Job description

We are looking for an experienced and caring Lead Teachers for our Three's classrooms. You will collaborate with our assistant teachers to prepare children for school both academically and socially by using age-appropriate lesson plans, selecting effective developmental materials for the classroom, and utilizing positive behavior reinforcement. We keep our teacher-to-student ratio small to enable you to provide individualized care for every child in our program. You must also provide parents with regular reports on their child's progress.

Lead Teacher Duties and Responsibilities

• Implement curriculum
• Support creativity and learning
• Provide supervision during activities
• Select age-appropriate developmental materials for the classroom
• Keep classroom neat and organized
• Provide parents with progress reports
• File incident reports as needed
• Assist in diapering responsibilities

Lead Teacher Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED certificate
• CDA, TCC, Associate, Bachelor's degree in early childhood development or education, or current enrollment in a similar degree program, or willing to enroll in one within six months of hire.
• At least three months of teaching or childcare experience
• First aid and CPR certification is a plus.
• Complete annual training

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Early childhood education: 1 year (Preferred)
• Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
• CPR Certification (Required)
