What are we looking for in our next new hire?

You must have a minimum of a HS Diploma or equivalent along with at least one of the following:

• A diploma from a Medical Assistant Program,
• Minimum of 2 year of medical assisting experience,
• Equivalent of 1 year combined relevant medical assisting experience and education,
• Military Medic training, or EMT-P (Paramedic) training

You must have your Medical Assistant Certification or have a minimum of 7-10 years medical assisting experience if uncertified.

What will you do?

Assists management in leading the day-to-day operation.

Assists with direct patient care, and performs specialized medical procedures of a routine nature, as dictated by established clinical protocol.

Assists medical and/or nursing staff in the examination and treatment of patients.

Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Leads the day to day work and productivity of patient care staff.
• Advise and assist staff on problem solving patient/customer issues.
• Assist supervisor in scheduling employee time off and daily work assignments
• Address issues associated with clinic operations
• May act as a clinical preceptor.
