Position Overview:
As the Lead Express Technician, you will help lead and drive the express technician team to provide reliable and quality preventive maintenance to help keep our guests stay safe on the road. The Express department is responsible for oil changes, checking and refilling fluids, filter replacements, computer diagnostics, and tire rotations. You'll oversee and work as a team to provide fast, easy, trusted top-tier customer service to our guests.

Essential Functions:

• Perform specific work on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and per dealership standards
• Diagnose and repair automotive vehicle systems, including flushes, oil changes, tire rotations, etc.
• Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs
• Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques through formal training sessions to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology
• Inspect and test new vehicles and record findings so that necessary repairs can be made

Requirements:

• Prior automotive experience (2+ years)
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Possess a valid driver's license and favorable motor vehicle record
• Able to pass a pre-employment background check
• Authorized to work in the United States
