The Landscaper is in need of a Foreman/Supervisor as we look to keep growing and thriving in 2023. Here's what this role on our team looks like:

Working Mon-Friday, usually about 7-4. We strive to avoid Saturday work, and prefer to get everything done M-F.

Primary Responsibility: Leading at least 2 crews of 3-5 guys each. What that looks like:

• Teaching less experienced laborers, guiding them through what needs to be done
• Material and equipment runs between our shop, suppliers, and jobsites
• Multiple check-ins with each crew, every day, to make sure all crew members are setup and staying fully productive each day
• Must also be willing to participate in snow removal runs as needed during the season

The projects you'll be on are primarily residential hardscape remodeling. You'll be working with our crews to install patios, retaining walls, trees, bushes, mulch, sprinkler systems, etc. Our projects are big enough to typically last at least 5-10 work days.

What we're looking for is someone with the following skills and experience:

• Equipment experience and safety - daily use and setup of 3/4 ton trucks, trailers, skid loaders, excavators and more. Using all of this equipment and helping to dispatch it according to jobsite requirements both efficiently and SAFELY.
• Landscaping familiarity - able to read basic plans/prints, layout jobs correctly, think through drainage and pitch, know the basic relevant plumbing codes, and other neccessary knowledge of the landscaping trade
• Management, Crew Coordination - proven supervisor, foreman, or other relevant management experience to show you have the ability to keep 5-10 teammates working efficiently week after week
• Leadership skills - resolve conflict within the team, answer questions, be proactive. Teach and develop those with less experience. Respect, value and encourage the team to be at their best.
• Background, personal requirements - drivers license in good standing with an insurable record. Strongly prefer a clean background - no felonies or visa issues. Ability to obtain security clearance for jobs on government bases/properties is a huge plus.
