Manager responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Lead several teams of scientists providing technical oversight, leadership, and mentoring to staff when necessary
• Schedule and train employees in client environment
• Lead face-to-face interviews with external candidates to fill open positions
• Ensure adherence to highest quality and efficiency standards in laboratory operations
• Ensure coverage, performance, and adherence to quality metrics
• Ensure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) associated with analytical testing are regularly met
• Work with cross-functional teams to manage critical, high priority projects and improve visibility and communication of upcoming work
• Develop other leaders and foster morale and teamwork

Qualifications

The ideal candidate would possess:

• Deep and thorough understanding of pharmaceutical drug development process, and pharmaceutical industry trends
• Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and implement differing strategies to meet clients’ needs
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
• Ability to develop and implement innovative solutions
• Ability to learn and apply new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, first shift 8AM-5PM. Candidates currently living in a commutable distance to Indianapolis, IN are encouraged to apply.
