Description of role:

Then Fruit Bouquet/Cookies by Design has just the job for you! We are currently seeking "Fruit Ninja's" at our Schaumburg location, 1332 N. Roselle Rd, Schaumburg. We are looking for someone to join our team to work, 25-35 hours/week- 3 to 5 days a week. Kitchen experience is preferred but not necessary. Must be 18 years of age. We are looking for a long term, outgoing employee with a sense of humor who enjoys their job!

Tasks applicable to the hired position (we will train):

- Prepping containers for fruit bouquet assembly

- Pre cut fruit by following 1-800 Fruit Bouquet specifications

- Dipping fruit in chocolate

- Assembling fruit bouquets

- Bagging and preparing bouquets for pickup and delivery.

- Preparing the showroom for the start of the day by following the Mid Day Shift Duty Checklist

- Maintain a clean kitchen by following the Closing Shift Duty Checklist

-Assist customers at the front counter

- Other miscellaneous tasks that relate to the position

Skills and requirements:

* Detail oriented, a quick learner

* Able to work alone or be able to lead the group,

must be able to work in a team atmosphere.

* Be Responsible

* Be Honest

* Be a Self-starter

* Be able to multi-task

* Excellent work ethic and time management skills

* Must be able to adapt to a rapid work environment

* Must be able to lift 30 lbs.

Work schedule:

1st Shift: 5am-11am, Monday thru Saturday

3-5 days a week

Schedule will change weekly.

If hired, you will be required to work overtime leading up to the holidays (Mother's Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, Valentine's etc). You MUST be able to work all days leading up to a given holiday, not just a couple. Flexible schedules are a plus!!

Salary:

$16.00 per hour

Yearly anniversary reviews are given.
