Animal Medical Center I-35 - Open Kennel Attendant Position

Our very busy small animal veterinary hospital is looking for 2 full time kennel positions to take care of our patients. That means that we need people that are responsible, caring, and pay attention to details. These staff needs to love animals, and want to make them feel loved and secure while they are away from their families!

• This is not a glamorous job. It can be loud, dirty, and you might not smell the best when you are done for the day. But the kitten purrs, the puppy breath, and the lab belly scratches can all help make it so much better!

We also need you to be a vital part of maintaining the cleanliness of our hospital. That means that you will scoop poop, clean kennels and runs, and take out the garbage. These items are part of the responsibility of pet care.

• If you are considering a career in the veterinary field, this might be the first step to learn how a hospital works, how to work with dogs and cats all of the time, and decide if this is the path you want for your life! You must be over the age of 16, and be willing to pass a drug and background check.

This job requires working weekends and holidays - Animals must be taken care of 365 days per year!
