Part-time Morning Kennel Attendant is needed at our animal hospital.
We are looking for a person who is will look after our boarding patients with love and care. Caring for the boarding patients (dogs and cats) includes walking, cleaning cages, feeding, and giving medications (pills, ear/eye drops) We have checklists for all duties but we need someone who will look for those little smudges and drops that pets leave behind also.
Our kennel attendants are scheduled to work shifts in the morning from 7-9 am and some afternoons from 4-6 PM. We do require some weekends shifts. Saturday morning shift is 7:30-12:30pm. We can offer some flexibility in shift times.
This is a job shared with another kennel assistant to ensure AM & PM 7 day/week coverage.
Starting pay is $11.50/hr (negotiable if has previous experience) averaging 10-15 hours/week depending on scheduling.
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
