We want to talk to you! Spokane Industries is looking for a LEAD Journeyman Industrial Millwright! Join our world class team at our Spokane Valley location and come grow with us!

This position is Monday - Friday, 12:00PM-8:30PM - SWING SHIFT. The first month the hours will be 8:30AM-5PM and will then transition to Swing Shift.

Primary Accountabilities:

• Lead the swing shift maintenance staff members.
• Read and write detailed descriptions related to troubleshooting and repair of industrial equipment.
• Interpret equipment schematics and manuals for repair, install, and maintenance.
• Utilize arc and wire feed welding equipment and oxyacetylene torch and air arc cutting equipment in the fabrication/repair of parts and equipment.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair various hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and gas combustion systems.
• Repair, replace, and maintain bearings, gearboxes, sheaves, taper locks, belt conveyors, chain conveyors, and roll conveyors.
• Troubleshoot, repair and install basic plumbing assemblies.
• Know and perform proper lockout/tagout procedures.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems with basic repair.
• Install, test, repair, inspect, adjust, and maintain in good working order all machinery and mechanical equipment, hydraulic, pneumatic, gas, and chemical systems throughout the plant.
• Perform all duties required of plant mechanic, pipefitter, and welder.
• Inspect and maintain cranes.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, quantitative skills, and working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
• Foundry experience a plus
• Lean manufacturing experience
• Must have Industrial Millwright experience.
