TKK is looking for candidates with significant work experience as a Tower Technician to join our team completing various construction projects across the PNW. The Aerial Technician will be responsible for performing all installation and integration tasks above ground and at heights. The Aerial Technician will perform installation, repair, and routine maintenance on electrical equipment, such as cell tower components or radio antenna equipment.

Pay Rate: $20-$35 per hour, depending on experience.

Job Responsibilities: This position is responsible for but not limited to:

• Climbing and working on communications towers for the purpose of installing, replacing, and repairing antenna systems equipment.
• Complete work assignments on all equipment to include carrier adds and upgrades, antennas, towers, coax cabling, and associated equipment.
• Recognizing and mitigating the hazards associated with tower climbing, construction equipment, and working on or near energized lines and equipment.
• Complete work on towers at height, while maintaining a focus on safety at all times.
• Performing installations as well as test and troubleshoot problems within the wireless network with minimal guidance for tasks.
• Maintain and repair equipment within wireless networks, including equipment upgrades.
• Fully test an antenna/line system as required via PIM or Sweep.
• Maintain organization and good condition of tools and equipment on site, in the vehicles and in the warehouse.

Required Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience working at heights.
• A valid driver’s license with an MVR record that classifies you as insurable.
• Ability to climb towers 100+ feet tall, with a 50 lb. load.
• Understand hand and arm signals.
• Must be able to sit, stand, walk, and drive or ride in a truck for long periods of time.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, RFDS, and CDs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience climbing and working on towers.
• NWSA TTT1 Certification.
• Experience with UMTS, Carrier Adds, and LTE upgrades.
• Certifications from Tower Technician training programs (ie. The Learning Alliance, Airstreams Renewables, Warriors4Wireless)

Working Conditions:

• Flexible to work long hours and weekends if needed.
• Candidates will be expected to travel up to 75% of the time to job sites across Washington state.
• TKK provides hotel stays and per diem when overnight travel is required.
• Requires working outdoors in all types of weather.
• Wear all necessary safety clothing as needed such as: gloves, hard hats, eye protection, seat belts etc.
