What does this role look like?
The position is for a cybersecurity engineer working for Lockheed Martin Mission Solutions. Mission Solutions line of business has been delivering extraordinary solutions to some of our nation's most critical imperatives. Leveraging the full spectrum of capabilities across the Lockheed Martin Corporation, Space Systems Company's Death Valley team provides its range of customers a legacy of superior performance, relevance, and innovation with an unrelenting focus on Operational Excellence and Mission Success. Applicant should have experience with RHEL, Windows, and cybersecurity principles.
As a cybersecurity engineer you will have the opportunity work across a broad range of technical and engineering activities in a collaborative, Agile environment.

o CJSC 6510.01F Information Assurance and Support to Computer Network Defense CND
o DODI 8530.01 - Cybersecurity Activities Support to DoD Information Network Operations
o DISA Evaluator's Scoring Metrics (ESM) for Cybersecurity Service Providers/Subscribers
o USSF DCO-S Operations, Service Level Agreements and Memorandums of Understanding
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Basic Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems
- Technical curiosity to learn new skills and are ready to help across the team
- Experience with vulnerability scanning and/or patching
- Security+
- Active TS/SCI Security Clearance is required
- Experience with Python, Bash, Ruby and git source control
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools including containerization or CI/CD
- Experience with Ansible, Terraform, or InSpec
- Knowledge of Agile development practices
- Extensive experience in the defensive cyber domain using tools such as Snort/Surricata, Zeek, or Wireshark
- Experience with Cisco network device configuration
- Experience in space, ground, and satellite vehicle architectures
- Broad background in information security tools, concepts and issues across a range of technologies
- Familiar with secure information system design and architecture
- Familiarity with the following Publications:
