Gradient Financial Group, LLC is a leading nationwide financial services company consisting of eleven entities. We are seeking a motivated Investment Analyst to join our Gradient Investments team.

Gradient Investments actively manages a suite of investment portfolios across the risk spectrum. We are looking to add an Investment Analyst to the investment team. The Investment Analyst will work as part of the portfolio management team as well as closely with investment consultant, trading, and operations colleagues.

Now, you’re probably wondering a little more about what we are looking for, so here it is:

• 3+ years of investment industry experience - required.
• CFA level 1 - preferred. Willingness to obtain is required
• Ability to communicate effectively with the internal management team, external financial advisors, and the end consumer.
• Ability to communicate effectively to large groups in a presentation-style format
• Work effectively with team members but also the ability to self-direct as needed
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast paced, system-oriented environment.
• Experienced with financial reporting and analysis and asset allocation strategies
• Proficient with investment analytics software, portfolio reporting tools, and MS Office suite

• Update, maintain and improve existing analytical tools and processes.
• Provide support to our investment team in the areas of: idea generation, security selection, and ongoing management of Gradient Portfolios.
• Analyze and select individual stocks as well as exchange traded funds across asset classes.
• Conduct financial analysis, forecast, model and value publicly traded companies.
• Assist the trading, operations and investment consultants as needed.
