This position is located at Patrick Space Force Base, FL.

This position is not eligible for a (hybrid) telecommuting schedule / remote.


Essential Functions

  • Assist the Maintenance Control Center (MxCC) in providing Range status to coworkers, Management, USSF Range Engineers and RGNext Launch and Test Range Systems Integrated Support Contract (LISC) team members
  • Input of Work Center Remedy trouble tickets into the USAF Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS) Equipment Status Reporting (ESR) module as well as verification of Job Data Documentation (JDD) input by work center personnel
  • Assist with MxCC Help Desk functions to receive phone calls and email requests providing accurate responses as a pleasant and helpful resource
  • Assist MxCC team members with creating as well as maintaining Range instructions such as work instructions, maintenance procedures, operating instructions and technical manuals to support complex Launch and Test Range Systems equipment
  • Assist the MxCC team in preparing reports for internal and external status meetings such as prelaunch/post launch meetings and Range maintenance activities
  • Assist with Contract Data Requirement reports when required
  • Assist with the development of Preventive Maintenance Instructions (PMI) and scheduling of Range maintenance
  • Assist with work center Maintenance Procedure equipment technical validations at both on site and off site locations
  • Assist with Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) data extraction and required reporting
  • Vigorously pursue initiatives to improve the quality, efficiencies, and timeliness of LISC enterprise solutions, products or services
  • Innovate process improvement oriented towards ensuring contract compliance and fulfillment while devising and implementing process improvement methods from internal and external integrated process team actions
  • Develop and integrate LISC enterprise concepts and recommendations to capitalize on Cross Range best practices, efficiencies and standardization
  • Other duties as assigned to include administrative functions such as subcontractor oversight, invoice receiving, budget maintenance, property facilitation and Range hurricane coordination requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Experience

  • Associate’s degree in Electronics, Electronics Engineering or Network Administration that includes a hardware/software requirement, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Zero to two years or more experience in electronics troubleshooting or analysis of electronic manufacturing or maintenance facilities and systems
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access) to develop charts, graphs, presentations and documents
  • Database Structured Query Language (SQL) abilities, preferred


Additional Eligibility Qualifications

  • Possible travel Outside the Continental U.S.
  • The flexibility to work occasional non-duty hours or on weekends to support specific project or mission requirements
  • Must be fully vaccinated from the COVID-19 virus, which means two weeks have passed since a single-shot vaccine or the second dose of a two-shot vaccine. Requests for medical or religious accommodations will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance, which includes U.S. citizenship or U.S. naturalization
  • Valid U.S. Driver’s License
