POSITION SUMMARY: ProcessBarron has an exciting opportunity for a Field Services Estimator. This position includes Estimating, Planning, and Project Management responsibilities. The Field Services Estimator will participate in life-cycle oversight of projects from quote requests to invoicing.

RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS:

Identify labor, material, and time requirements by reviewing and analyzing customer specifications, design drawings, and site conditions.

Develop project costs using company’s estimating software.

Assemble final estimates that include price, scope of work, specific terms and conditions, and technical details for submission to customers.

Acquire specific knowledge of ProcessBarron’s product lines and capabilities.

Create detailed work schedules for the purposes of planning and communicating with internal teams and external customers.

Collaborate with Field Services, Sales, Manufacturing, and Engineering teams to build and strengthen relationships.

Prepare special reports and project summaries by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

Meet with customers and conduct site walk-downs to assess project viability and develop accurate estimates.

Interact with Field Crews, Subcontractors, and Project Managers while estimating, planning, and executing projects.

Monitor project costs and make recommendations to management as needed.

Interpret all customer Terms and Conditions and contract stipulations to ensure the company is entering into acceptable agreements.

Utilize company tools, such as CAD models and historical databases, to improve estimating accuracy.

Physical Demands include, but are not limited to:

Must be physically able to perform work assigned.

Must be physically capable of accessing all locations at customer site.

Access all areas within a site which could include heights, confined spaces, climbing ladders or stairs, and accessing tunnels.

Will be working at times in covered environment or in an outside environment.

The employee will be exposed to the following working conditions: Extreme Heat and Cold, Noise, Vibration, Oils, and Atmospheric Conditions such as Dust, Fumes, and Particles.

The employee will be required to perform the following actions (from time to time): Standing, walking, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, talking, seeing, hearing and sitting.

May be requested to perform as an on-site Project Manager during an outage or a capital project assignment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $1.00 per year
