Efficient Power & Light LLC is a small business in Flowood, MS. We are professional, agile, innovative and our goal is to Provide the highest level of customer service through professional execution of Energy Efficiency work. .

We are looking for a HVAC technician to help with Multi-family units. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in the field and will be familiar with the installation and repair of heating, ventilation and cooling systems. The successful candidate will also be willing to work with minimal supervision, able to work independently and perform routine maintenance on all types of equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair residential air conditioning units.
  • Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems.
  • Perform Energy Efficiency tune-ups to existing equipment including diagnostics.
  • Install electrical components of HVAC systems to ensure compliance with national codes.
  • Troubleshoot HVAC systems using computer-based diagnostic tools.
  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams to determine the correct wiring of electrical components.
  • Install new electrical components in existing HVAC systems.
  • Understand the basic principles of refrigerant piping and heat transfer theory.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $200.00 - $700.00 per day

  • Flowood, MS: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

  • HVAC: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • EPA Type II (Preferred)
