Education/experience
Experience as a qualified HVAC mechanic is highly desired.

Job Summary
Performs skilled diagnosis, repair, maintenance and installation of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems on campus. This will include closed loop systems, chillers, commercial refrigeration equipment, cooling towers, AHU’s, FCU’s, VAV’s and all related equipment. Working knowledge of building HVAC controls is preferred.

Required Qualifications
Skilled in the operation of all tools and equipment associated with HVAC maintenance. Ability to read, write and follow mechanical drawings. Ability to lead, manage and supervise subordinates. Demonstrated working knowledge and experience as an HVAC Technician. Ability to perform skilled diagnosis, repair, maintenance and installation of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems on campus including loop systems, chillers, commercial refrigeration equipment cooling towers, AHU’s, FCU’s, VAV’s and related equipment. Overtime and after hours work will be required.

Preferred Qualifications

Journeyman license in HVAC or related field.

Associate Degree in HVAC or related field.

Working knowledge of building HVAC controls.

Pay Band 3 (Starting at $38,000)
