Summary/Objective

As the HR Operations Manager, you will report to the Chief People Officer and be responsible for managing Human Resources Operations functional areas including Benefits, LOA, HR Systems, Employee Onboarding, Employee Relations, Compliance, Record Retention and HR Metrics.

You will be detail focused, particular and precise when it comes to data, driven by process improvement, a relationship builder and thrive on creativity and thought sharing that leads to the improvement of the employee experience.

Candidates for this position should be solution-oriented, analytical, innovative, collaborative, and be able to engage with colleagues across levels, locations, and disciplines. What You'll Bring

  • Experience managing, aligning, and improving HR Operations workflows. Leading review of all HR processes to identify opportunities for improvements to better meet business needs, drive efficiency and improve the employee experience.

  • Experience managing benefits administration, including health and welfare programs, and leave of absence administration.

  • Experience maintaining HRIS systems. Implementation experience is a plus.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to take direct ownership of interpreting data and using data to influence decision making. Ability to recommend data-backed best in class HR solutions.

  • Experience identifying opportunities for improvement and creative solutions.

  • Ability to work at all levels - strategic, operational, and tactical.


How You Will Succeed

  • Oversee the administration of critical HR programs and processes including HRIS, benefits, leaves of absence, human capital metrics, compliance and more.

  • Manage HR Operations workflows, documentation, data, and tools.

  • Conduct process mapping to develop and deploy transactional HR processes; continuously seek ways to increase efficiency and effectiveness and recommend improvements.

  • Ensure responsive HR service delivery and issue resolution for employees.

  • Enhance data reporting capabilities and produce monthly and quarterly HR metrics.

  • Deliver proactive analysis and consultation on human capital trends such as turnover analysis and retention studies to identify improvement opportunity areas and establish action plans to address.

  • Ensure data integrity by accurate and compliant employee record maintenance across HR systems capturing all status changes and perform regular audit procedures.

  • Experience overseeing HRIS system and workflows to ensure data accuracy, effective and compliant recordkeeping, accurate and timely pay and benefits, operational efficiency, and HR compliance with regulations and policies. Experience with ADP WorkforceNow is preferred.

  • Measure key program metrics. Regularly benchmark company programs and monitor external trends in order to proactively adjust company plans and programs to ensure market competitiveness.

  • Manage a comprehensive benefits portfolio including benefits, retirement, wellness programs. Partner with the CPO on annual plan renewals and design.

  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory and legislative imperatives and impacts to a Total Rewards program (ERISA, Section 125, HIPAA, FLSA, etc.)

  • Serve as subject matter on and manage end-to-end Leave of Absences

  • Maintain handbook accuracy and updates for various business units.

  • Manage and resolve employee relations issues, including conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations with resolutions that are aligned with company policies and best practices.

  • Ability to listen and use critical thinking to assess needs and communicate accurate information concerning process, plans and procedures in a collaborative, team-based manner.

  • Highest degree of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality; demonstrated discretion in the handling of highly sensitive material and information.

  • Ability to flex between multiple business units.

  • Ability to deliver results, providing day-to-day support in a dynamic environment - both strategic and hands on


Required Education and Experience

  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field, or equivalent experience

  • 7+ years of progressive HR Operations, HR Business Partner or HR Generalist experience

  • Highly creative and innovative and future thinker on HR trends and approaches

  • High executive presence with the ability to exert influence within the organization by clearly expressing goals and initiatives that garner buy-in and enthusiasm

  • Demonstrated technical and analytic competency
