By combining highly-trained Behavior Technicians, transparent data collection, and developmentally appropriate programming, we will create a program our clients can trust— with results that are evident. We provide client services primarily in San Francisco, Daly City, South San Francisco, San Bruno, Millbrae, San Mateo, Foster City, and Redwood City.

As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will report to the Regional Clinical Director and will work closely with the Administrative and Clinical Management Teams. You will be a key resource for all team members and will be responsible for the day-to-day needs in the areas of recruitment, employee onboarding, benefits administration, leaves of absence, payroll administration, workers compensation administration, safety and compliance, and employee off-boarding.

Salary

**Starting at $65,000-$75,000 and based on experience.**

Primary Responsibilities

  • Takes lead role in recruitment efforts including job postings, applicant screening, candidate interviews, generating offer letters, extending employment offers, and administering and monitoring pre-employment background checks
  • Conducts new hire orientations and handles all aspects of onboarding paperwork intake, including compliance with I-9 verification
  • Maintains employee personnel files and ensures medical documentation and employee certifications are up-to-date in order to remain in compliance with our funding sources and insurance requirements
  • Reviews, tracks and documents compliance with mandatory trainings, such as Harassment Prevention Training
  • Responds to all HR and employment-related inquiries from applicants, candidates, employees, and supervisors
  • Works closely with the Administrative and Clinical Management Teams to identify staffing needs and to ensure employees are scheduled in accordance with company policies and legal guidelines surrounding rest breaks, meal breaks, travel times, and overtime
  • Prepares semi-monthly payroll and ensures accuracy with paid time off entries, reimbursements, deductions, and pay rate changes
  • Investigates and resolves payroll issues, questions, or discrepancies in a timely, accurate and confidential manner
  • Administers employee engagement surveys and analyzes feedback to identify and present trends and areas for improvement to the Clinical Management Team
  • Prepares employee bi-annual performance review documentation and collaborates with the Clinical Management Team to ensure accurate documentation of ongoing employee feedback and performance-related concerns
  • Identifies issues and grievances requiring management involvement or intervention
  • Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings and investigations
  • Conducts exit interviews and all off-boarding procedures
  • Analyzes exit interview feedback to identify and present trends and recommendations to the Clinical Management Team
  • Reports and documents workers compensation claims and collaborates with the Clinical Management Team to identify areas of improvement to continue providing a safe work environment for all employees and clients
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and recommends best practices

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field
  • 1-2 years of progressive work experience in an office setting required
  • Prior experience working with ADP a plus
  • Proficiency in G-Suite applications desired, with the ability to pick up new programs and systems quickly
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills are essential
  • Decisiveness and ability to exercise good judgment with strong problem-solving skills if an answer is not readily available
  • Ability to adapt and respond to changing work priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience handling sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality
  • Must be able to work well independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively with a team
  • Eager to learn and open to regular coaching and feedback
