Job description
Summary/Objective
The Human Resource Generalist will be involved in the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, onboarding, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices. The Human Resources Generalist reports to the Director of Human Resources.
Essential Functions
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to credentialing, payroll, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Conducts or acquires background checks including through vendor and complete employee eligibility verifications.
- Conduct employee recruitment and onboarding
- Maintain the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for positions
- Assist in the performance review process.
- Assist with HR reporting and compliance, metrics tracking
- Maintains employee file integrity by routinely perfroming monthly file audits.
- recommending new procedures, and conducting training.
- Assist with open enrollment for benefit programs.
- Assist with 401k enrollment.
- Other HR duties as assigned.
