Then apply for a Housekeeping position at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Coeur D’ Alene! This job is part time, 25 to 30 hours a week. You must be flexible on days you are scheduled to work and working Sundays is a requirement. We are looking for OUTSTANDING individuals who are dedicated to delivering the best guest experience possible to be part of our Housekeeping team! *** We are offering a hiring bonus of an extra $2.00 per hour for all hours worked within the first 30 days of employment. Pay out will be after you have worked 30 days.***

Job Duties:

  • Performs cleaning duties in all guest areas and back of house.
  • Consistently offers professional, friendly, and engaging service.
  • Ensures housekeeping departmental standards are followed.
  • Responds timely to guests’ special requests for miscellaneous items like cribs, cots, extra towels, etc.
  • Maintains inventory of necessary supplies.
  • Reports necessary maintenance items.
  • Follows departmental policies and procedures.
  • Follows all safety and sanitation policies
  • Assists other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests.
  • Performs additional duties as neede

Abilities:

  • Flexibility in job and ability to provide coverage for the Hotel. This includes working weekends - Sundays are required.
  • Ability to follow all Holiday Inn Express Housekeeping and Guest Service standard operating procedures and understand the team member handbook.
  • Express facts, ideas, and messages to others in a clear, concise, and organized manner that is easily understood.
  • Anticipate the needs of guests; display an open, friendly, courteous, and approachable demeanor to guests; proactively engage guests to provide quality service; maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude toward guest service.

Qualifications:

Knowledge/Education/Experience:

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Highly responsible & reliable - We need to be able to count on you!
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Team player
  • Good time-management skills (your bonus depends on it!)
  • Customer-centric
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Must be able to pass a background check

It's a PLUS if…

  • You have previous housekeeping experience!
  • You have hospitality/customer service experience!

  • Ability to stand and be active during entire shift - this can be a physical job!

Compensation:

$16.00 per hour + Room Time Bonus
(Room time bonus is attainable by cleaning rooms effectively and efficiently!)
