Job Description
Our Janitorial/Housekeepers are responsible to provide cleaning services to maintain a safe, sanitary, comfortable environment for residents and the public.
Responsibilities
- Maintains a stoked cleaning cart with needed items.
- Demonstrates knowledge of and respect for the rights, dignity and individuality of each resident in all interactions.
- Cleans (dust, dry mop, wet mop, sanitize, scrub) assigned residents apartments and common areas daily according to facility procedures.
- Respects resident's privacy and preferences about room arrangment, personal items.
- Leaves personalized card in each department to identify the housekeeper who cleaned the apartment.
- Disposes of trash and waste, other materials in a safe manner using identified precautious for any contaminatd materials.
- Post signs indicating a safety hazard any time housekeeing activties pose environmental hazards.
Requirements
- Previous related housekeeping experience preferred
- Ability to reform general housekeeping repair needs, problem solve and communicate and cooperate effectively with others.
- Work in a team environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.94 - $18.95 per hour
