Position Overview

Kilgore, a Summit Material company, is looking for Loader Operators at our Hot Plants. In this position you will be responsible for maintaining asphalt plant hopper levels, maintaining stockpiles, and loading trucks.

Compensation: $24/hour - $26/hour depending on experience

Position Responsibilities & Performance Objectives
The duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Essential Functions

• Feeding material to the plant.
• Inspecting, fueling, and cleaning the equipment daily.
• Ensuring that bins are kept full of correct material to achieve maximum production at the plant.
• Stockpiling material that is brought in by trucks.
• When the plant is down, you will be required to help get the plant repaired by performing all necessary tasks (shoveling, belt repairs, screen changes, etc.)
• Being a team player and seeking opportunities to help your co-workers be successful.

Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of loader operator experience.
• MSHA Training required.
