About Us:

The Dive Oyster Bar, a Cajun-Creole inspired restaurant, introduces Southern comfort food to Temple City through our specialty kettle bar. We strive to use quality ingredients and seafood — delivering the most flavorful dishes to Temple City diners. The Dive Oyster Bar aims to create a lively dining experience that welcomes families, dates, business meetings and everything in between. Our mission is to create a restaurant where we exceed the expectations of each customer and create a positive/high energy work place for each employee. We are looking for reliable, positive, and energetic individuals to join our team. As our restaurant grows, we will prefer to promote from within and continue to grow with individuals that take as much pride in our brand as we do.

We are currently looking for a hostess to help manage the front of the restaurant.

Job Responsibilities

• greeting and seating guests promptly
• Promptly answers incoming calls
• Control and manage waitlist
• Assisting bussers with clearing and setting tables (when needed)
• Provide assistants to front of the house managers
• Taking, entering and packing togo orders
• Managing third-party delivery services (Uber, DoorDash, GrubHub, etc)

Requirements

• Must have availability during Thursday-Sunday AM/PM.
• Be able to communicate clearly with guest
• Reading, writing and verbal communication skills required.
• Mobility required during the entire shift.
• Transports and carries objects (such as high-chair) up to 15 pounds

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour
