Our host team at Chanhassen Dinner Theatres is looking to add a few more talented people who are looking to add to our culture of delight. Our host are the face of Chanhassen Dinner Theatres and they help aid guests with requested accommodations. The host position is responsible to greet and seat guest, help with service, communicate with management and service staff regarding guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Greet customers and escort them to their table.
• Accommodate guests with special needs.
• Communicate any inquiries, special requests, complaints/compliments to Food & Beverage Manager on duty.
• Check work list.
• Stuff inserts in programs if necessary.
• Assist in setting up dining rooms.
• Communicate any difficulties or changes to managers.
• Attend “cue call”.
• Help with service, pour water & coffee, clear tables, communicate with service staff any guest special requests.
• Respond to emergencies appropriately.
• Work as a team member and assist co-workers when needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 16 years of age or older
• No prior experience needed, prior customer experience preferred.
• Must be a team player.
• Must be able to multitask.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.

Physical Demands

• Must be able to stand on feet for 6 or more hours at a time.
• Must be able to life up to 40lbs.
