Hospice & Community Care of Rock Hill, SC is actively hiring a Full Time Hospice Community Liaison/Business Developer!

The Hospice Community Liaison/Business Developer is responsible for selling hospice services in a defined market or territory. Sales activities include account identification and development, and servicing/growing facility and physician account relationships within a defined territory. All sales activities are in accordance with business plan strategy for a market.

What You’ll Do:

  • Calls on physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation facilities, assisted living facilities, and other senior living settings with the assigned territory to open new accounts and promote hospice referrals.
  • Maintains detailed territory list, prioritizing accounts in accordance with the market/territory sales plan. Maintains detailed territory management systems records as required.
  • Makes sales calls, arranges appointments and delivers educational programs to keep referral sources current in hospice service offerings. Acts as a liaison between referral sources and HCC staff to provide information on organization services, resolve problems, and maintain positive customer relationships.
  • Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with appropriate leadership and clinical staff to keep abreast of current service offerings.
  • Participates and completes all HCC-sponsored continuing education and in-services for the position.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a health-related science (e.g. Nursing, Pharmacy or Social Work) and/or 5 years of hospice sales experience.
  • A minimum of one year of healthcare or industry-related sales experience preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
  • General understanding of hospice referral partners (hospitals, physician, skilled nursing facilities, and assisted living facilities).
  • General knowledge base of the healthcare providers in our service areas: York, Chester, and Lancaster counties.
  • Established referral base in our service area preferred.

Pay: From $24.00 per hour
