We have an immediate need for a LVN for patients in the areas listed belo

Home Health company in Santa Clarita looking for bright per diem energetic nurses that are self-starters. We provide excellent pay and are flexible/will work around your schedule. Come be a part of our team!

We are looking for a Home Health LVN to provide care and support to the patients. Your presence and services should bring comfort to the person who faces any sort of pain.

Currently Seeking an LVN to provide care for homebound patients in Lancaster, Palmdale, Mojave, California City, Little Rock, Rosamond, Quartz Hill, Leona Valley, Agua Dulce and Acton.

*Mileage will be reimbursed for traveling.

*1 year of acute care OR 1 year of home health experience only

Job type: Per Diem

Salary: $35.00-$45.00 per visit (depending on experience)

Duties Include:

· Provides direct patient care as defined in the state Nurse Practice Act.

· Implements plan of care initiated by the registered nurse.

· Provides accurate and timely documentation consistent with the plan of care.

· Participates in coordination of home health services, appropriately reporting the identified needs for other disciplines (HHA, OT, PT, MSW, ST, Dietician) to the registered nurse and/or Clinical Supervisor.

· Uses and/or prepares equipment and supplies effectively and efficiently adhering to aseptic technique.

· Participates in personal and professional growth and development.

· Performs other duties as assigned by the registered nurse.

Requirements:

· Graduate of an accredited practical nurse or vocational nursing program.

· Has one (1) year nursing experience. Community/home health or medical/surgical experience is preferred.

· Currently licensed as a licensed nurse or licensed vocational nurse in the state.

· Possess and maintain valid CPR certification.

· Complies with accepted professional standards and practice.

· Demonstrates good verbal and written communication and organization skills.

· Licensed driver with automobile that is in good working order and insured in accordance with the organization requirements.
