What you’ll do
As directed by a Case Manager, you will provide personal care and various services for home health patients throughout several counties, including health care, nutritional services, mobility assistance, bathroom assistance, medications, light housekeeping and running errands. We’ll rely on you to observe, report and document patient status and offer empathetic support to patients and their families.
What it takes
- STNA certification or completion of the Medicare competency evaluation program
- 1-2 years of experience working as an STNA or home health aide
- Knowledge of home health aide practices and procedures preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable vehicle (you’ll use your own car), valid driver’s license, insurance and acceptable driving record
