Healthcare A/R Billing Lead
LHH is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable candidate to fill a position in the Phoenix and Mesa, AZ areas. The Temp-to-Hire opportunity will be in office with a schedule of Monday - Friday, 8am – 5pm.
Pay rate for this role will range between $22 and $26 per hour DOE.
The right candidate will hold 3 or more years of RECENT experience in Medical Collections, Billing or A/R within a healthcare field.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting activities related to the revenue cycle as needed
- Point of contact and oversee billing and collections
- Ensure consistent efficiency in charges being billed, ensure outstanding balances are collected
- Using Excel and working through aging reports
- Review reports for errors and provide problem resolution
- Stay up to date on changing regulations in billing
- Escalate any delinquent accounts and ensure timely payments
- Focused on billing insurance company for services completed
What you bring!
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Required - 3 or more recent years of experience in Accounts Receivable in a healthcare setting (Authorizations, Billing, Collections and Receivables, Insurance Billing)
- Knowledge of working with Medicaid and Medicare as well as Commercial Insurances
- Recent experience in working with ICD-10, HCPCS, EMR and EHR.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs
Compensation:
- $22 - $26 per hour, DOE
Schedule and location:
- Monday through Friday
- 8am – 5pm (40 hours)
- Tempe, AZ
