Burger Express has been delivering quality hamburgers and shakes to customers since 1990. In a competitive world with many big players our goal has been to deliver top quality product at an affordable price. A family owned operation we operate four stores in the North Idaho area.

A DAY IN THE LIFE:

As a Store Manager you will be provided with the skills and products to operate the store in a professional way. Each day is different and to be successful in the position you will need to have an outstanding positive attitude in dealing with customers and the majority of crew members that are between the ages of 14 and 20. Our view is that each store is treated like it is owned by our manager who is in charge of making sure the store is kept clean inside and out with customer service that is outstanding and product that is made and served correctly. You will be in charge of scheduling crew, placing orders to suppliers to keep the store stocked, keeping daily paperwork in correct order and having a full knowledge on how to count tills and handle money. You will also have the ability and freedom to build a crew of capable people around you to operate the store. Training is imperative so we will spend the needed time with you to understand how to operate within the framework that is set out with our four locations. By having all four locations the same in an operational format we are able to secure better pricing and stay competitive in the quick serve market.

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

*Excellent customer service skills.

*Understand complete store functions

*Be able to schedule crew members

*Take inventory and order for suppliers.

*Have knowledge and be able to clean restaurant equipment.

*Able to operate tills and drive thru operations

*Maintain financial integrity of the store with strict cashier accountability.

*Follow company policy as laid out in the operation manual

*Train new crew members for their job positions.

*Be comfortable working in a fast paced environment.

*Maintain health and safety proceedures.

WORK EXPERIENCE AND / OR EDUCATION

*High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not necessary.

*Quick serve business experience preferred but we can train with a willing person.

WHAT WE PROVIDE:

*Fulltime hours.

*Pay to $30hr depending on experience.

*Monthly bonus incentive up to $6k per year.

*Two weeks paid vacation time after one year.

WHAT WE NEED:

*Housing within 30 minutes of store location.

*Reliable transportation to work.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

*Frequent walking, bending and standing.

*Ability to handle incoming boxed product up to 30lbs.

*Fast paced environment with moderate noise level.

*Ability to attend manager meetings once a month.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $62,000.00 per year
