Job Title: General Laborer

Reports to: Foreman / Supervisor

Salary Range: $24.00-$32.00/hour DOE

Schedule: 2 on 1 off rotational schedule

Job Duties:

The general laborer will be responsible for receiving goods, performing construction site duties, operating construction vehicles, and executing several various manual tasks such as digging trenches, unloading building materials, and preparing job sites.

Qualifications:

· Responsible for the use and care of tools and equipment commonly employed on industrial construction sites.

· Ability to follow direction working with other UOSS crew members safely and productively.

· Comply with all safety policies and applicable safety handbooks.

· Assist journeymen in all aspects of construction and maintenance in industry settings.

· Contribute to Udelhoven’s “Incident Free Culture” by getting involved in morning safety meetings, Task Hazard Analysis forms, and Work Observation programs.

· Use STOP work AUTHORITY.

· Preferred certifications: NSTC, TWIC, and OSHA-10.

· Basic knowledge of hand tools.

· Basic writing and mathematical skills.

Experience:

· Experience in civil or mechanical construction, preferred.

Education:

· High school diploma or GED.
